Back in L.A.

I've been back in Los Angeles for a little over a week now, and I'm finally getting back to normal. The jet lag is gone, and I'm getting used to the climate change as well. But seriously what is this nonstop rain all about?

It's odd to think how much my life has changed in such a short amount of time. I left for Argentina excited but still caught up in my life here. The job I had just left, the end of the year approaching, loose ends to tie up. And I came back three short weeks later with my priorities reorganized. After having spent all that time feeling so good about the places and the people I saw, I relaxed a bit and saw things for what they were. Some important, some suddenly not all that important. Nothing quite like a change of venue to change your outlook.

So as the new year starts I resolve to make different resolutions this year. Forget the exercise more, eat less chocolate resolutions of the past. (Although I will still continue to have these in mind). This year I resolve to do more. To meet more people in different places, to try things I've never tried before. I resolve to make each relationship I have deeper and more meaningful. I resolve to love more and be loved more. And I resolve to remember always all that I am grateful for. (This means all of you).

Much love to all of you and may 2005 bring you nothing but happiness.

Don't forget to drink more wine and eat more pizza. Preferably at my place.
